The Interdisciplinary Cruise Program

This year our Interdisciplinary unit will be centered around the sea and a country later decided upon. This unit will include a month-long interdisciplinary study among all subjects and grades before the two-week cruise. A destination will be chosen on November 1st where the ship will be docked for five days. All of the passengers will be encouraged to explore this community. This description of the unit is a tentative guide the faculty and staff have put together to get things started. This outline is subject to change due to contributing ideas welcomed by students, parents/guardians, and community members. The final draft is to be completed four weeks before the unit classes are to begin. (click on the email to send us ideas)

Time lag between the beginning of the unit and publication of specific details is necessary for teachers to effectively and successfully plan lessons for the students; lessons which will prepare them for this exciting adventure. We welcome all ideas from the entire school community. Voting may take place on specifics of the unit if a large amount of people contribute ideas.

Note: We have already made a tentative LIST of the courses available on the cruise.
